A SNAPCHAT ORIGINAL SERIES FEATURING ANTHONY JOSHUA. WE DEVELOPED, PRODUCED AND DELIVERED THIS 8-PART SERIES WHICH WON BEST SHORT FORM CONTENT OF THE YEAR AT THE BROADCAST SPORT AWARDS.
THE BRIEF.
Develop & produce a short-form, social first content series featuring Anthony Joshua that tells a meaningful story that is important to AJ.
THE IDEA.
We worked closely with Anthony to develop a creative that was meaningful to him and spoke to Snapchat’s core audience in their language. A Fighting Chance was born out of AJ’s desire to leave a lasting impact on the youth of his community in Watford. In each episode AJ met and learned about a different young person, each with different life challenges, and organise a mentorship opportunity for them.
THE APPROACH.
We built a bespoke team of talented production staff to help run and manage this production including the casting of vulnerable young people from Watford. This included hiring a top end director from our network of creative talent. Producing content for the Snapchat platform and audience meant we had to study the visual language and utilise the viewing data of the platform to optimise the episodes so they had maximum impact and reach.
